Lebron Moved Teams.. so what?

So, NBA star LeBron James is moving teams or something. What a crazy and exciting development, I’m pretty sure no one has ever left a team to get more money, I wonder what will happen to the NBA now!! I’m so very glad that is all I’ve been hearing about every time I see a news article, really. In all honesty, I think it’s crap. I enjoy basketball, don’t get me wrong, it’s a fun sport to watch and follow, but why is the community making such a huge deal over one player? Since when has a player, especially one who plays for that a team that has no real emotional significance to him (except for maybe of course where he made his ride), been worried about sticking to a team out of loyalty?

LeBron no doubt views basketball as a career, considering it’s his livelihood, and as such seeks to earn as much money as he can from it. Would you turn down a job offer for the exact same job as you have now, but paid much more and surrounded you with more quality individuals? Come on people, wake up, and stop thinking that LeBron James made some sort of massive betrayal, he’s just a human being, and he looks out for his own interests, just like you and I would.
